With such a hectic schedule, happy hours have become a little beacon of hope for me at the end of an exhausting day.  My colleagues and I get together and enjoy refreshments, share food, and let loose after a day at the office.  It’s a great way to spend time together and to really get to know your coworkers.  Unfortunately, when you’re on a budget, it feels like you should be sacrificing this luxury.  Well I’m here to tell you that’s not the case.  I’ve compiled a list of some of the best Happy Hour specials Kansas City has to offer.  Here are 14 Kansas City Happy Hours that won’t break the bank.

Port Fonda’s

From it’s humble beginnings as a food truck, Port Fonda has become a super trendy KC eatery.  The modern cantina has been mentioned in GQ, New York Magazine, and the New York Times (no big deal) for it’s creative expression of Mexican Food and incredibly chic, rustic vibe.  Try a margarita flight or enjoy Happy Hour drink specials from 3-6pm Monday through Friday.

Extra Virgin

Known for their Mediterranean tapas, award winning chef, and artsy vibe, has turned Extra Virgin into a Kansas City staple.  Enjoy a casual lunch or a fun date night at the Crossroads restaurant where you can enjoy half-priced tapas, and $2 off wines and drinks.

Enjoy half priced margs, mojitos, and appetizers in a friendly environment from 2pm-6pm Monday through Friday.  If you have an exceptionally bad case of the Monday blues, stop in for 1/2 priced mojitos and margaritas all day!
