Stay strong college kids! Spring break is right around the corner. There are only a couple more weeks until you can lay on the beach with your besties and soak up the sun! If you’re looking to boost your spring break experience and go somewhere new, here are 6 new places you can try!
- Universal Studios – Orlando, FL
I went here with my family one summer and had a blast. There’s so much to do here, so you’ll definitely never be bored. It’s a little costly, but if you and your friends have the extra money, you should definitely consider going here. It’s one of my favorite vacation spots. Not to mention, Florida has beaches everywhere so you can hit the park and the beach all in the same day.
- New Orleans, LA
I love NOLA! The food down south is sooooo good. One of the reasons why I think this would make an awesome spring break location is because of the culture. There are so many things to see and explore this city. Not only will it be a great vacation, but it will also be a learning experience too!
- Washington, D.C.
Here’s another learning experience! D.C. is full of fun tourist-y attractions, but you’ll also be immersed in history. If you want to cross some things off your bucket list, this is the place to go. There’s the Holocaust museum, the Lincoln memorial, the Martin Luther King Jr. memorial, the site where JFK was buried, the Changing of the Guard ceremony, and not to mention, the White House.
Everyone dreams of going to Hawaii! If it’s in your budget, you and your besties could be lounging on the beach during spring break. I’ve always wanted to go to Hawaii, so I figured I’d add it to the list.. maybe someday I’ll get to experience it for myself.
- Los Angeles, CA
The city of celebrities makes a great spring break getaway. If you and your friends are on a mission to find some celebrities, this is the place to be! Make sure to visit all of the attractions LA has to offer, especially the Paramount Pictures studio! You might see your idol shooting a television show or movie… you never know.
- A road trip with your best friends!
Instead of spending your money on plane tickets, take a road trip with all your best friends! Just make sure everyone has money for gas, food and an occasional hotel here and there and you’re all set! You’re sure to make some great memories with your friends along the open roads, and you could even see some of the other places on this list.
