If you love sports, then you’ve probably heard of most, if not all, of these places! Sports vacations are in high demand with all of the sports events being televised and talked about. Visiting certain places you’ve seen while watching a sports events, to going to places that hold a lot of history, sports vacations are easier to plan that you might have originally realized.

Most of these places want tourists, so all you have to do is set aside some time in your schedule to visit these awesome sports places! Utah Olympic Park

The Utah Olympic Park might look familiar to you. Built for the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics, it’s used for Olympians today to train and prepare for following Olympics and other sports competitions. It’s used for most winter sports including ski jumping, luge, and bobsleigh.

Many Olympic locations end up closing down after the Olympics come to an end. Some even end up being abandoned, but not Utah Olympic Park! Besides being a place for athletes, it’s a place for the public too! Vacationing in Utah is gorgeous on its own, but going to the Olympic Park is the cherry on top of the sundae! There’s an Olympic museum, a day lodge, and a splash pool. It’s a great place to visit for every type of sports lover!

Lambeau Field

Lambeau Field is the home to the famous Green Bay Packers! Located in, of course, Green Bay, Wisconsin, the stadium is one of the oldest in the entire country having opened exactly sixty years ago. The Packers are known for having won the very first super bowl against the Kansas City Chiefs and the famous “Ice Bowl” game played in 1967.

A vacation here would include visiting the stadium, the Packers Hall of Fame, and the town! Green Bay is a small town compared to larger NFL cities. Did you know that there’s a whole athletic complex located in Orlando, Florida next to Disney World? Well, there is! Unlike Disney World, the cost of admission is super cheap: $18 for ages 10 and up, $13 for ages 3 through 9. If you’re participating in an event though, admission is free!

The park received a big upgrade in 2009 and boy, was it big! They switched over to HD video scoreboards and a new broadcast production facility. There’s a baseball stadium that almost seats 10,000 people, a multi-purpose arena for loads of different events, and a cross country course. FC Barcelona Museum

FC Barcelona is the best soccer team in the entire world! They absolutely destroy their competition and the world recognizes them for it. The stadium has a museum right next to it that has a 3D cinema, a collection of trophies, and works by local artists. It also has shoes worn by players when they scored important goals in championship games!

Augusta National Golf Club

For anyone who loves golf, Augusta National Golf Club is probably on your list of places to visit. Located in Augusta, Georgia, the golf course is known for the annual masters tournament. Unfortunately, the club charges a ridiculous amount to get in and be part of the club. This is a place to visit mostly if you’re interested in watching the masters tournament!

If you can get in, the masters tournament is a major event in golf that gives golfers the feeling of reaching the top. Careers have been made at the masters tournament! From Tiger Woods, to Jordan Spieth, to Sergio Garcia. This event and location is a great place for any golf lover to visit!
