7 Reasons to Visit WinterFest at Worlds of Fun This Holiday Season

Get in the holiday spirit by visiting WinterFest at Worlds of Fun!  I had the chance to go check it out and here are 7 reasons you should add it to your list of places to go this holiday season.

Enjoy the Atmosphere

Lights, light and more lights…it really is the most magical time of the year and Worlds of Fun made it even more beautiful. I immediately felt the holiday spirit when I arrived at WinterFest. The beautifully hung decorations led right up to the tall and wonderfully designed Christmas tree made the atmosphere festive and cheerful. The air smelled of evergreen  and holiday treats, and each exhibit had it’s own unique holiday theme. It was the perfect start to feeling that familiar holiday cheer.

Decorate Cookies With Mrs. Claus

I stopped by Mrs. Claus’ Kitchen to decorate cookies and yes, it was just as amazing as it sounds. No experience needed,  I didn’t have to be a pro to walk away with some pretty impressive cookie designs to set out for Santa. The cookie decoration options were endless and having Mrs. Claus there was a huge help. She was so lovely and helpful.

Holiday Themed Shows

WinterFest is offering a ton of amazing holiday shows for the entire family to enjoy! Come and see the sights and sounds of the Christmas with an array of unique holiday themed shows, music, and decorations. Hear old familiar holiday favorites performed bluegrass style, watch as a dedicated little elf makes sure all Santa’s gifts are ready for the big night in the musical Tinker’s Toy Factory, or see the familiar story of Nativity brought to life with live farm animals and classic carols.

Make sure to check out the full list on their website.
