9 Makeup Tips for Fair-Skinned Beauties
This one is for the pale girls. You know who I’m talking about. The girls who burn after ten minutes in the sun. The girls who are constantly asked if they are sick in the wintertime, even if they feel fit as a fiddle. The girls who would NEVER get a spray-tan because they know how ridiculous tit would look. Now, fair skin is beautiful, as are all skin tones. However, it can be difficult to figure out makeup looks that don’t look overbearing or wash you out. So, here are some tips for fair-skinned beauties.
1. Know that you CAN wear whatever you want.
It’s the 21st century, do you shouldn’t have to justify any beauty choice you make. If you like it, wear it! On the other side of the coin, if you don’t like the way a product makes you look, don’t use it, even if it’s “trendy” right now. Trends pass, but if you find a beauty routine that works for you and bolsters your confidence, use it.
2. Avoid super-dark eyeshadows
Black smokey eye looks are daring and very sophisticated if done correctly. However, on super-fair girls, the darkest shadows have a tiring effect. Opt for chocolate browns or jewel-tones if you want to go bold.
3. Work the bright lipstick.
Super-fair girls can pull off bright lipstick in a heartbeat! It’s instantly reminiscent of pin-up glamour and pulls together an entire aestetic with very little effort. It may feel silly at first, but you’ll be rocking those red lips in no time.
4.Avoid pale lipstick
“natural” pale pink shades may be in vogue right now, but these shades do very little for light-skinned girls except wash them out and take definition away from the lips. If you want to go natural, just use a sheer lip gloss or balm.
Use white eyeliner Instead of black liner on your bottom lashes, which could give the appearance of dark circles under the eyes, opt for white liner instead. It opens up your entire eye and helps you look fresh and awake.
6.For natural-looking eyeshadow, peach and gold are your best friends.
Peach shades brighten the eyes, and create a beautiful base for any other colors you want to experiment with. Gold eyeshadow is also perfect if you want to amp up the glamour without going too far out of your comfort zone. Also, if you REALLY want to brighten, try white eyeshadow. You can pull it off better than anyone else.
7. Blush it up baby!
Blush is a MUST If you lack natural color in your cheeks, invest in a really nice blush. Your perfect color should match the shade your cheeks turn when you pinch them.
8.Be careful with bronzer
Blend your bronzer REALLY well, it’ll be obvious if it’s too dark for your skin tone. Err on the side of caution when buying new bronzer products-lighter is better than too dark.
Your skin is beautiful, don’t let any insecurity get in the way of enjoying makeup and beauty! Rock that porcelain ☺
