Beach-Inspired Waves, No Heat!

Beach hair– those tousled, glossy waves that make you look like you spent the day at the beach, sans tan. Beach waves are one of the most low-maintenance and natural hairstyles to try and they’re easily able to be dressed up or down.

There are many ways to tricking your hair into thinking it was at the beach!  These tips and products involve minimal time and no hot tools, a good tip for the summer so your hair can stay healthy and grow stronger.

1. Use product
This just might be the easiest way to get those beach waves. After showering, spray damp hair with Bumble & Bumble Surf Spray and watch ocean-inspired waves appear!

2. Make your own mix
Use a combination of ingredients to make your own product. The key ingredient to any D.I.Y. beach-hair-product is sea salt, which is also used here. Here are the steps to getting your own beach in a bottle.

1 c. warm water
3 tbs. sea salt
½ tbs. leave-in conditioner
1 tbs. styling gel

To make it:
Mix the warm water and sea salt
Then, add the rest of the ingredients until fully mixed
Add until your hair screams, “I was at the beach!”

3. Go bun-crazy! (Overnight hairstyle)
When your hair is damp, separate your hair into four different sections. In each section, tie your hair up in small buns. The next day, take the buns out and gently run your fingers through your hair. Viola! The ocean has come to you.
