Best Makeup Artists On YouTube
It’s a new year, which means that it’s time to change up your typical makeup routine and experiment. We know that it can be difficult to figure out what would look best on your features, but there are tons of tutorials out there that will steer you in the right direction. But, how do you know which YouTubers put out the best tutorials? Fear no more because we’ve hand-picked the YouTube channels with the greatest makeup artists on the Internet.
Pixiwoo is a channel run by sisters Samantha Chapman and Nicola Haste. These British beauties have over 500 videos where they instruct you step-by-step in doing the most amazing makeup looks. They’ve done looks inspired by almost every celebrity you can think of, and they are always trying new things to come up with crazy, creative looks. These sisters are super talented, and we could seriously watch their videos for hours without getting bored. Whether you’re looking for an easy, natural look or for a dramatic one, the sisters of Pixiwoo will guide you to perfection.
Pixi2woo is Tanya Burr’s channel, and she is just as amazing as her future sister-in-laws from Pixiwoo. Every look that Tanya does is wearable for almost any occasion, and she makes sure that she describes the look and feel of every product that she uses. Tanya loves to take requests from her subscribers and often recreates celebrity looks based on how many people want to see the look. We love watching Tanya’s smoky-eye makeup tutorials because she uses a variety of colors to show that smoky eyes don’t need to just be done with greys and blacks! Her channel is perfect for those who are just starting out with makeup and want to get a sense of how to be a little creative with it.
Laurenbeautyy gives us the gorgeous tutorials done by Lauren Curtis, an Australian teen with serious talent. Lauren is best known for her dramatic looks that are perfect for nights out, formal events, or anytime when you’re in the mood for a high-impact look. She has videos about how to properly contour and highlight the face as well as videos about how to make the most of your eyelashes. Her tutorials are entertaining to watch not only because of how lovely she does her makeup but also because she narrates most of her videos in such a friendly tone. We can’t wait to see what new looks Lauren has in store for us in 2013!
