DIY Face Mask’s for each skin type

Here are four face masks for four skin types. If you have another DIY face treatment- leave it in the comments!

 

All-Skin Types

Oatmeal and Yogurt Face Mask

Ingredients: 1 tbsp finely ground oatmeal, 1 tbsp live organic unflavored yogurt, few drops of honey

Steps:

  1. Add the yogurt to the oatmeal in a small bowl and mix together.
  2. Warm a few drop of honey. To do this, warm a spoon under hot water for a minute, then add a few drops of honey to the spoon.
  3. Stir the honey into the yogurt and oatmeal mixture.
  4. Apply the mask to the face. Leave it on for 10 minutes, then rinse off with several splashes of warm water.

 

Oily, Acne-Prone Skin

Banana Face Mask

Ingredients: 1 ripe banana, 1 tbsp honey, few drops of lemon juice

Steps:

  1. Mix the banana and honey together.
  2. Add a few drops of lemon juice.
  3. Apply the mask to the face. Leave it on for 15 minutes, then rinse off with several splashes of warm water.

 

Dry Skin

Avocado Face Mask

Ingredients: 1/2 avocado, 1/4 cup honey

Steps:

  1. Mash avocado in a bowl.
  2. Stir in honey.
  3. Apply the mask to the face. Leave it on for 10 minutes, then rinse off with several splashes of warm water.

 

Combination Skin

Rose Face Mask

Ingredients: 2 tbsp rosewater, 1 tbsp unflavored yogurt, 1 tbsp warm honey

Steps:

  1. Mix together rosewater, yogurt, and honey.
  2. Mix well.
  3. Apply the mask to the face. Leave it on for 15 minutes, then rinse off with several splashes of warm water.
