Happy National Soyfoods Month! Did you know that was a thing? Well, it certainly is and I think its just fantastic. It’s another reason to get cooking. I love getting the chance to try out new recipes. I haven’t always been the best at making time to cook, but I came up with a quick and easy delicious recipe that taste amazing.
To celebrate National Soyfoods month, I decided to do a little swapping and mixing for my approach on easy and delicious pizza.
I went as healthy as I could and started with a wrap for the crust. I then put pasta sauce on it, and started adding toppings. I opt’d for fresh peppers and onions, they are my favorite!!
I also added morning star veggie crumbles. I’m telling you I hate touching red meat, seriously hate. Veggie crumbles from morning star are a great alternative and they taste soooooo good! I have used them to make spaghetti, lasagna, tacos and more.
Then, of course to make it officially pizza I added cheese. I baked it for about 12 minutes at 350 degrees.
I want you to take the challenge with me and give yourself the chance to switch up your regular recipes and do a little soy swap and add some soy food. Want to learn more about the Soyfoods Association of North America? Check out their social media pages: facebook, twitter, instagram and pinterest.
