Fall Trends TV Segment (Featuring Kohl’s)
I was so excited to get the opportunity to do a tv segment featuring one of my all time favorite stores, Kohl’s. I absolutely love Kohl’s and all of the great styles they offer. This morning I was a guest on the Fox4 Kansas City Morning show. I talked about three great trends for fall. Check out the video below.
1. The Jumpsuit
Although we first started seeing the jumpsuit on the spring runways it’s proven to be a fashion trend that is perfect for fall. The jumpsuit is also a celebrity favorite as it is a very versatile and easy to wear piece. The Jumpsuit can be a great alternative to a dress or perfect for a casual day outfit instead of a sweat suit or leggings; it can also be worn in a more professional setting for work if paired with a cute blazer. As you can see here Jennifer Lopez in her own jumpsuit from Kohl’s, which is her go to piece as it is comfortable yet always stylish. In studio we have another jumpsuit from her line paired with the skinny belt, which is a great look for the office.
2. Black and White
Black & White is classic fall trend that always seems to repeat itself season after season. This season you’ll find some great graphic and printed black & white styles, which you see here on Olivia Palermo, Kristen Chenoweth and Louise Roe. Here on our model is an asymmetric striped black & white sweater from Catherine Malandrino for DesigNation, which is a update from your basic black & white stripes. Not only is this trend on point but this particular style is part of a designer collaboration at Kohl’s. So you not have an opportunity to get a celebrity look for less but a designer look for less.
3. Prints
Whether the print is leopard, snake skin or cheetah, prints can be dressed up or down depending on what you pair it with this fall. See Megan Hilty here a leopard printed blouse, which she has dressed down with a pair of cutoff shorts. Here we have the same Leopard Printed Blouse, which is from Rock & Republic however we have dressed it up with a pair of dark wash denim, which is perfect for a night on the town.
