Featured Fashionista Friday: Anna Golka

This weeks featured fashionista is the impeccably stylish Anna Golka.
“My name is Anna Golka and I am 21 years old. Fashion consumes my life. Each aspect of fashion, styling, designing, and even blogging, all thoroughly intrigue me. My favorite part of fashion has to be the clothes themselves and their ability to make statements and drop jaws. Well, at least mine. Fashion is a form of expression. I get dressed in the morning and feel I’m dressing for my mood. I literally get some sort of high walking into my closet to pick out my outfit each day. Clothes allow people to transform themselves each and everyday into a work of art. “
Anna looks stunning in her whimsical ensemble that is the perfect combination of flirtatiousness, femininity, and fun. She wears a mermaid like sea foam green waterfall skirt paired with a white lace top, silver metallic belt, dark brown wedges, and trendy accessories.

The lace top is girly and sophisticated, giving the look a romantic highly feminine feel. This cascading waterfall skirt is sassy and fun with it’s high hem line in the front, revealing just the right amount of skin. Strappy wedges will amplify two of your best features – those lengthy legs! With the bold geometric necklace, trendy shades, and silver belt, this outfit is perfection. In this look, you can meet your girl friends for lunch, head to a date with your special guy, or spend the day shopping for your next perfect ensemble.

Anna shows us how to mix aspects of femininity and sass perfectly. If you are inspired by her look, try it yourself!! Here I took elements of this outfit and made it my own. I love the cascading hemline of the skirt so try one in a pastel hue, the one I chose was a light rose color. I found a scalloped lace tank and a metallic gold belt that will draw the right amount of attention to the smallest part of your waist. I added a black geometric necklace, strappy wedges and tortuous shell shades, much like our inspiration Anna, to complete this second look.

When styling a similar look for yourself, don’t be afraid to mix sass and class, too much of one style is bland. If you incorporate your personality into any look, you can’t go wrong.
