We inherited so many records from my grandparents and we need an updated record player for our living room! We don’t have cable, so we listen to a lot of music when we are home and cooking or lounging! What a perfect holiday treat this would be!

I want to win this because my current turntable was bought in 1987 and the last time I tried to play a record on it, a horrible sound was coming from it. Think either the motor or the belt is worn out, so I really need a new turntable as I have over 300 LP’s and over 600 45’s in my collection.

I would love to win this for my father. He has been a cop for over 30 years and his only means of letting things go from the day’s stress and worry has been his music. He has a vast selection of records of everything from The Beatles to Lynard Skynard. Several months ago, his record player of over 15 years finally went kaput on him. Needless to say, I could tell he was upset but he simply got up and went to bed. He never said a word. However, I have been at his home on several occasions since and he’s seemed really stressed out and I am sure its because of not being able to relax and listen to his records after work. I would love to win it FOR him so he can again have something to distract him from the realities of his job as a law enforcement officer, until he is finally able to retire from his job of protecting his community despite the lack of respect and stress he deals with.

I would love to win this so I could share the experience of LPs with my daughters. There is something lost with the conversion of everything in the world to electronic (Internet, MP3, or streaming). It as if everything has become immediate in a way that undermines the value of the content.

I would love to win because I aam old enough to remember the ‘vintage’ version of these turtables. I remember taking 45s to friends houses and we would all play them and dance aaround haaving aa blastt. Thiis new updaated version is awesome, and yes, I still have vinyl here to usee on them!
