Guest Bathroom Closet Essentials

Nothing makes a guest happier than a perfectly organized and fully stocked bathroom closet. It’s like Hotel de Meyer in my household and you too can have this look with just a few items that I believe should always be kept on hand!  Here are a few tips and tricks to make your closet seem like a dream come true to your guests!

Roll your towels. It just looks prettier than the normally stacked towels. I also like to use white towels for that true hotel/spa feel.

Stay stocked up on the necessities like toilet paper, kleenexes, body wash, and toothpaste, all the definite essentials.  This way, if something runs out, they can find it without asking. I like to use wire baskets for extras to keep them neat and organized.

Keep extra pillows. Although this isn’t something one should need in the bathroom, just make sure your have extras laying around.  I know I always need more than one pillow to sleep, so your guests may too.  This is a good spot to keep them so your guests will know that you have them!

My favorite shelf loaded with extra toothbrushes, nail polish remover, hand soap, lotion, bubble bath, a spa pillow, travel toothpaste, scrubbie (that, of course, your guest would take home… unless you are like me and have frequent travelers who just keep their items at your casa), hair products, cotton balls, q-tips… you name it, it’s probably there!  Try using large glass vases to store your items in. That way, everything can be seen clearly!

Hello! I was born and raised in a small Kansas town but have always loved the city and all that it has to offer! I love to travel, I love fashion, and I love to eat...and write about it! My small town life growing up has definitely shaped who I am today and as I grow older, I am starting to appreciate that more and more. When I am not writing or at my day job, I am most likely baking, running, spending time at the local farmers market, or hitting up a good happy hour! I am currently in Nursing school and will graduate in 2017, I love helping people!! I am obsessed with taking pictures that aren't conventional and sharing them with the world. My family and friends mean the world to me and I cherish each second I spend with them. I currently have my own blog titled "Dirt Roads ~ High Heels"
