If you’ve been following me you know I love to travel. California is one of my favorite destinations so any chance I get to go, I go.  My friend Stacie and I decided to take a two week trip to California to explore.  While we were there we got a chance to visit the Homewood Suites in Agoura Hills for a two night stay!

About the City

Catch a stay in Conejo Valley California.  This beautiful city is located near Malibu.  I had the pleasure of staying in the Homewood Suites- Agoura Hills.  This outstanding hotel is a great location for an extended business stay or a family vacation.

The hotel has studio, one and two bedroom suites that feature fully equipped kitchens, with a refrigerator, two burner stoves, microwaves, and dishwashers.  Each of these amenities inside the suite came in handy to me for my stay.  I also enjoyed the spacious separate living areas in the suite.  I felt like I had tons of room to spread out and feel comfortable.

  • Full hot breakfast buffet daily
  • Complimentary dinner served with beer and wine
  • On-site convenience store
  • Outdoor heated pool and hot tub
  • Accessible business center
  • Exercise facility
  • Barbecue. area
  • 6-hole putting green
  • Complimentary shuttle
  • Complimentary WIFI

I really enjoyed my stay at the Homewood Suites.  When I first arrived at the hotel, I was greeted by their friendly staff offering to assist me in any way possible throughout my stay.  When I got to my room I was pleasantly surprised at the size.  There was a full size kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, microwave oven, and a dishwasher.  In the next room there was a sleeper sofa and a lounge chair, with a foot rest and coffee table.  I also had a small dining area.  The décor was modern and up to date.  My bedroom was also spacious and comfortable.  There was plenty to do at the hotel.  First of all I visited their nice fitness center.  They have two treadmills, a bike, an elliptical, yoga balls, and free weights.  Next I visited the heated pool and hot tub.  They were refreshing and enjoyable.  The putting green has 6 holes for putting practice.  I still need a little work.

The full hot breakfast was delicious and a great way to start the day.  There was always waffles, eggs, bacon or sausage, yogurt, fresh fruit, orange juice, apple juice milk and water.  For dinner, they provide a full meal.  Including a salad bar and a different meal choice each night (Monday-Thursday).  They also provided complimentary beer and wine.

There was so much to do within walking distance.  There is a Trader Joe’s next door in case you need to pick up some snacks.  Nearby is the Wildflouer Café, Habitat Burger Grill, Urbane Café, Jinky’s Kanan Café, and Panda Express.  We decided to check out the Reagan Presidential Library and Museum as well as the Paramount Ranch.  You can read more about what to do and where to go in my girl’s guide to visiting Conejo Valley.
