At this event I will get to attend a screening of an upcoming episode of Freeform’s new original series “Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger”. Have you been watching? I’m so addicted to this show and I can’t wait to see episode 5. Make sure to catch up on the season asap, you’re going to love it!
This series is the story of two teenagers, Tandy and Tyrone, from very different backgrounds, who find themselves burdened and awakened to newly acquired superpowers which are mysteriously linked to one another. The only constant in the their lives is danger and each other. Tandy can emit light daggers and Tyrone has the ability to control the power of darkness. They quickly learn they are better together than apart.
Afte we will be doing a Q&A with Showrunner and Executive Producer Joe Pokaski (“Daredevil,” “Underground”) and more!
I will join Disney Junior for a special screening of the upcoming series “Fancy Nancy.” In my teaching days I use to read Fancy Nancy to my students all of the time. Based on the New York Times bestselling books by Jane O’Connor and Robin Preiss Glasser, the series is an animated family comedy centered around six-year-old Nancy, a girl who likes to be fancy in everything from her advanced vocabulary to her creative, elaborate attire. I am really excited about this one to bring back those teaching memories. We will also be doing a Q&A with Jamie Mitchell (Executive Producer/Director) and Krista Tucker (Story Editor).
Lookout for my posts because this will be an amazing event!! Let me know if you have anything you want me to find out, and I’ll do my best to give you the scoop! 😉
I am seriously so excited for this and can’t wait for everyone to follow along. Thank you for joining me on these fun adventures!
