Increase Your Confidence with Invisalign

As 2015 comes to an end, I am challenging myself and all of you to make 2016 the best year yet.  To help you get it started I want you to think about ways that you can improve yourself and your confidence.  Many times we feel better about our selves when our appearance is at it’s best.  I think one of the most beautiful things about a person is their smile.  Plus, smiling just adds a touch of happiness that can really increase your confidence.

However, some people struggle to share that joyous smile because they are insecure about their teeth.  If you are insecure about your teeth and looking for a solution I want to highly encourage you to check out Invisalign and find a doctor specialized in the process..  Invisalign is a series of nearly invisible, removable “aligners” that are used to gradually straighten teeth without metal or wires.

This is such a perfect solution for adults who don’t want their teeth straightening process to be obvious.  As an adult, wearing braces may not be practical or appealing for many of us. Invisalign clear aligners provide a discreet option for those looking to straighten their teeth without the hassle and embarrassment of traditional wire and bracket braces.  And since hardly anyone even notices when someone is in Invisalign treatment, an improving smile contributes to an improved appearance right away.

Every patient’s needs are different and there are many factors that determine the cost of Invisalign treatment, but in most cases, Invisalign is comparable in cost to traditional braces.  Most dental insurance plans cover Invisalign treatment and affordable financing options are often available.  Plus, Invisalign’s treatment capabilities are not limited to mild cosmetic cases.  Due to many advances in its proprietary technology, Invisalign can effectively correct a broad range of more complex cases such as: overly crowded teeth, widely spaced teeth, open bite, crossbite, overbite and underbite.

Their is also good news for those of you who are worried that this process will take years and years to complete. The length of treatment depends on the severity of each case and can only be determined by the treating doctor; however, the average Invisalign case takes about a year.  Treatment time is about the same as with metal braces and in some cases, shorter.

As a lifestyle blogger my goal is always to encourage all of you to put your very best self out into the world.  I want to find as many ways as I can to share tips that can help build your confidence.  Straightening your teeth to improve your smile is, in my opinion one of the best ways for anyone to boost their confidence and happiness – with the New Year right around the corner, now is the perfect time to get started.

A survey, conducted by Kelton and sponsored by the makers of Invisalign® clear aligners, found the following:

  • Almost half (49%) of women ages 18-54 made a resolution at the start of 2015 to improve themselves
  • Nearly 16 million women think they could start improving their smile within the next 90 days
  • An improved smile is something many women believe would give them a boost of confidence (44 percent) and happiness (36 percent)

My teeth were straighten when I was younger, the teenage way with braces.  However, even after braces and a a built in retainer my bottom teeth moved around and I have a gap that I just can’t stand.  It is my goal to give Invisalign a try in 2016 and forever correct that gap.  If you are thinking about straightening your teeth, I’d love to hear what your desire is to do.  Are you like me with a gap you want to close up or do have a different issue you want to straighten out?

Now, here is the challenge.  Make 2016 your best year EVER and make your number one resolution a simple yet life changing one, Smile More. 🙂

I agree, having a nice smile can help me feel more self-confident. I’ve always felt self conscious about my crooked smile, so I don’t smile as much as I used to. It’s great that Invisalign is supposed correct overly crowded teeth and overbite. My teeth have these problems, so I’ll ask a dentist about getting Invisalign so that I can finally have my teeth corrected and feel good smiling when talking to co-workers and clients at work. Thanks for this post!
