Exclusive Interview with American Idol’s Jessica Sanchez
Ever since she was two years old singing Disney songs, Jessica Sanchez knew she wanted to pursue her passion for singing. She performed on the first season of America’s Got Talent, was runner up on season 11 of American Idol and guest starred on Glee. Sanchez’s next step is a campaign that is bringing back M&M Crispys after ten years of retirement.
“I love sweets so anytime I can get my hands on chocolate I am in Heaven,” Sanchez said while describing the tasty new treat. The treat is a regular M&M that we all know and love, but with a sweet rice center. The treat originally only stayed in stores for 10 years (1995-2005) however, fans of M&M Crispys demanded the return of the snack. Luckily for fans they won’t have to say goodbye to this tasty snack anytime soon. Sanchez stated that M&M Crispys are here permanently and will be hitting stores nationwide during January.
Sanchez recently traveled to her home town of Chula Vista to help spread the news of M&M Crispys and holiday cheer by traveling door to door caroling. This was her first time caroling and she got to perform all kinds of holiday classics. “My favorite is Deck the Halls and Jingle Bells,” Sanchez said. Thanks to M&M Crispys Sanchez got to spread holiday cheer in her hometown and reintroduce the treat to the town.
“It was a surprise for me and them, there was one house we went to and this one woman opened the door and started crying,” Sanchez said.
Sanchez recently released a new single “This Love” for her fans. “I released this song not to long ago for my fans as a Christmas gift,” Sanchez said “They have been waiting so long.”
To anyone else trying to follow their dreams and passions Sanchez said “Never give up, I was bullied and picked on, I still have haters, but I don’t really care.”
