Kansas City Happy Hours

Who doesn’t love a good Happy Hour??  After all, that is the best time to check out new places to see if they are good!  They offer good prices for you to sample their food and drinks, what’s not to love about that?!  Many places offer Happy Hours, but I want to give you a scoop on some of the best I have found around Kansas City!

1. First up, La Bodega! Happy Hour daily from 2-6, half price pitchers of Sangria ~ and they have both red and white…and here is a little tip, if you can’t decide which one to get, order both!  They will even mix them for you if you ask!  Very good deal!  They also have amazing prices on their tapas and many to choose from so try them all!  The location pictured is at One-Ninteen in Leawood, and they have outdoor seating with a fabulous fire place for cooler days!  It’s a must!

2. Houlihan’s ~ which is not only in Kansas City, but a definite go-to place!  Happy Hour is Monday – Friday from 3-6 pm, all day Sunday, and late night from 9pm to close.  You can get smaller portions of your favorite app’s…14 of them to be exact, “Happy Apps”, for $3.95 and good deals on drinks!!  Pictured are the liter Long Island Teas, during Happy Hour, only $5!   The food is ahhh-mazing!

3. Harry’s Country Club ~ why not venture down to the City Market for some shopping…and after that, what else? Happy Hour at this lovely joint!  Sit outside or in, but you will definitely LOVE their $12 pitcher’s of Sangria and great specials on Beer, Wine, and Martini’s.  They also have food specials starting at $3.65. I highly recommend the Homemade Pretzels with Guinness Cheese Dip!   Happy Hour is Monday – Friday from 3-7 and on Saturday’s from 11-7…the best time to visit!!  Go ahead and try it for yourself, you will love it!

So get out there and enjoy at good Happy Hour! What are you waiting for?! 🙂

Hello! I was born and raised in a small Kansas town but have always loved the city and all that it has to offer! I love to travel, I love fashion, and I love to eat...and write about it! My small town life growing up has definitely shaped who I am today and as I grow older, I am starting to appreciate that more and more. When I am not writing or at my day job, I am most likely baking, running, spending time at the local farmers market, or hitting up a good happy hour! I am currently in Nursing school and will graduate in 2017, I love helping people!! I am obsessed with taking pictures that aren't conventional and sharing them with the world. My family and friends mean the world to me and I cherish each second I spend with them. I currently have my own blog titled "Dirt Roads ~ High Heels" http://thedirtroadshighheels@blogspot.com
