About Levain Bakery

Levain Bakery in New York was created in 1995 by Pam Weekes and Connie Mc Donald they started to have engaging passionate conversations about starting their own company and baking. Later, they opened a small bread shop in 1995 named Levain Bakery. The craze of their most famous cookie all started because they wanted to make a cookie that would give them enough energy while training for a triathlon. Once they decided to sell them in their bakery, they flew off the shelves instantly.
