With all of the winter blues coming to an end, I can’t help but want to force myself out of this gloomy hibernation and into the beautiful weather.
Whether you’re motivated by spring break, late new year’s resolutions, new goals, or the desire to revive old healthy habits, I’m about to share with you a few different methods to help you get back on track!
There’s the obvious option of renewing a membership at the local gym, but working out at the gym should be a last resort if the weather isn’t nice. After all, who wants to be cramped up inside when it’s absolutely beautiful out?
Recently, for one of my classes, I had to complete a project in which I tracked my steps with a pedometer. I know this sounds lame, but I actually enjoyed it! It boosts your confidence to look down at that little machine and see that you unknowingly walked 4 miles just from walking to and from work or class.
Get out and go for a walk. Make goals for yourself, or take pictures along the way. Find something cool to take a picture of every half mile, and make a game out of it.
