I’ve been so into monochromatic looks and I decided to continue sharing with you lovely ladies how to pull off different colors. Today, the very classic color, Red. With this color you’ll need to use some neutrals as well, I believe gray and black to be your best choices. Keep the outfit minimal by staying away from jewelry that’ll take attention away from your outfit. Here are two outfits I put together to inspire you. One is a more elegant look while the other is a bit more casual, since I know not all women like wearing heels.
The first is a sheer red button up paired with tailored shorts and a thin belt to break up the scheme a bit. I went for classic black stilettos, a gold necklace and a gray and gold clutch with rhinestones and a skull to edge it up. To pull it together and make it lady like, I went with a cool gray blazer that nicely drapes since the button up has no collar.
The second look is more casual, more daytime. A red button up and some funky shorts to add an element of print. Paired with a gorgeous gray trench coat and a Chanel inspired chain bag. Add on some black loafers, a men’s inspired gold watch and a simple necklace.
Check out Sarah Jessica Parker and Kate Bosworth.
