Must Have Winter Beauty Essentials

I am a member of the Collective Bias®  Social Fabric® Community.  This shop has been compensated as part of a social shopper amplification for Collective Bias and its advertiser.

Cold weather and dry air always bring about the worst for most of us with our beauty routines.  There are a few beauty essentials that I always love to load up on during the winter months.  Check out below for my must have winter beauty essentials that will help bring out your natural beauty.

I decided to head to my local Walgreens to pick up a few great products to share with you and hopefully make these cold months bearable for you!  I started my journey at Walgreens in one of my favorite isles, the beauty one.

1. Chap Stick

One product I can’t get enough of in the winter months in chap stick.  I know obvious, right?! But, I’m telling you this cold weather really dries out my lips.  I am constantly reapplying.  My tried and true favorite is always fully in stock at Walgreens.  I love Burt’s Bee’s chap stick.  As an added bonus, they even have tinted colors.  Even when I’m wearing lipstick, I start with a chap stick base.

2.  Lipstick (Preferably red for the winter)

That brings me to number 2, lipstick.  Chapstick is great for conditioning lips, but sometimes we need a little spark with the dreary winter weather.  It’s something about the winter months and red lips, but I just can’t get enough.  Some of my favorite brands that you can pick up at Walgreens are COVERGIRL,Revlon, Loreal and Maybelline.  Below is a picture of my friend Janna and I rocking red lips at a recent party we attended. (Yep, it’s an instagrammy 😉 if you want to follow me on instagram, it’s @SarahScoop.)  I just love how the red makes our lips pop in the photo.

3.  Lotion

Yep, this is one we all need to load up on in the winter months.  It is essential to keep your skin smooth.  I hate the flaky skin and dried out feelings that the cold air often causes.   One of my favorites to use in the winter is the Jergen’s Natural Glow.  I always miss my summer glow as the seasons fade into the cold months.  The Jergen’s Natural Glow is a great way to get a little tint with out having to go tanning.  (Sorry, no tanning beds for this gal.)

4.  Repairing Hair Products

It’s not just your skin thats going to get affected this winter.  It’s also our beloved hair.  When you’re outside during the warm season it’s pretty nice that the sun naturally plays a role in giving our hair some healthy vitamins.  We can’t forget to pay a little extra attention to it when it’s cold out.  I love Pantene products, so I always like to try things like the damage control line.  It’s great because it is geared towards repairing and protecting hair.  Plus, I just think Pantene products smells so good. 🙂  Again, this is at Walgreens.

5.  Eye Make Up Remover Wipes

Okay, so this one is something that I definitely use all year long, but I always seem to feel a little more lazy in the winter when it comes to taking off my make up at night.  I just want to put on my PJ’s and get cuddled under mutliple warm fleece blankets.  These Neutrogena extra gentle eye makeup remover pads are great for getting eye make up off quick and easy.

These are defenitly 5 of my must have winter beauty essentils.  Others, that you can also pick up at walgreens, include softening body wash, moisturizer, white strips and warm nail polish.  I hope you enjoyed my inside scoop on the winter essentials that can help keep you looking your best!  These items help keep me feeling fresh and revived, I hope they do the same for you!

Here is another look from our night out with the red lipstick.
