My Trip to Explore St. Louis

It’s hard to believe I only live about 4 hours away from St. Louis and have never had the chance to go check out the city.  I was really excited to get invited on a recent trip to check it out.  I had such a great experience and am excited to share with you some of the trip highlights.

The first thing we did was check into the hotel.  We stayed at Union Station hotel in St. Louis.  The place is B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L.  Seriously, check it out.

Then we headed to the Tiny bar, which my friends is legitimately a tiny bar.  After it was time for the emerging designers of the year award show. You can read all about it in my previous post. You can also check out my video from Saint Louis Fashion Week below.

Following the show we went to 360 STL and had dinner with Socially Jen.  I highly recommend you check out the restaurant.  It was such an awesome view of the city and the arch.

The next morning we got picked up in a party bus limo from Fun Tyme Limo.  It was so fun cruising around at 10am on a party bus.

We had quick stop to take photos of the beautiful scenery in St. Louis.  It was such a perfect fall day.

Then we were back on the bus to head to The Vault for some shopping.

After all of that shopping we were ready for lunch.  It was off to Katie’s Pizza and Pasta for lunch with the Normal Brand.  This place was seriously so good!! Did you see my instagram photo of this? Hashtag, delicious. 😉

I highly recommend you put on your stretchy pants and give Katie’s a try.  We also learned more about the Normal Brand.  It is a brand created for your everyday midwest man.  A little bit of city and a little bit of country.  The showed up a few pieces form their line and everything was great quality and very stylish.

That night we had dinner with Collections By Joya at Element.  This was one of my favorite dinners. The people behind this brand were so friendly and passionate.  I loved hearing the story of how they made their dreams into a reality.

We finished the evening by stopping by the Wear It St.Louis show.

The next day was my final day in St. Louis. We kicked it off with a shopping trip at Naturalizer.  I have always been a fan of Naturalizer so I was pretty excited to get to see their latest fashion.  It must be the teacher in me, but comfy shoes are a must.  I love how they have updated these comfortable shoes to a more stylish look.

Check out the pair I decided to take home with me over on my instagram.

After shopping of course we were ready for some lunch.  We headed to Dim Sum Brunch with Julia Li.  The restaurant offers a really fun concept with how the food is served.

After lunch we got a preview of Fantich & Young Preview and had an Artist Meet & Greet.

Then it was off to happy hour with Fauxgerty.  It was a busy busy busy few days. It was so much fun getting to meet new blogger friends and explore St. Louis.

We made another quick stop back to Fantich & Young for their show before heading to dinner.

After the show we went to Central Table (spoiler alert: delicious!!!).  This was my last dinner with the group before heading home the next morning.  This dinner was hosted by Missouri Eating Disorders Council Dinner and yours truly even helped out by debunking the myths about eating disorders.  I’ll be sharing a more detailed post about the dinner and amazing council making a difference in eating disorders.
