With the holidays approaching faster by the second (seriously have you seen the craft stores?), it’s time to think about decorations for the next holiday before we’re even done decorating for Halloween. We have the scoop on the cutest pumpkins with lights.
This year, we’ve been thinking outside of the box and decided it was time to incorporate multiple holidays into one decoration-filled day for the most magical feeling yet. Sure, it’s not something that’s traditionally done but when it comes to tradition, why not start making your own? Here is a starter idea to get your mind working on making this holiday season the most enchanted one yet.
Going to a pumpkin patch is one of the biggest signs that fall is here. Bringing the pumpkin home and carving the ultimate scary face can be a fun time. But this time around, pumpkins don’t have to be terrifying. Turn its eerie demeanor into Cinderella’s pumpkin. After carving a face (or maybe a horse carriage), put twinkling Christmas lights inside and all around the pumpkin to make it sparkle.
To use Christmas lights on your pumpkin, all you need is a knife and twinkling lights. If you want to get really fancy, you’ll be needing a drill as well.
Cut a circular hole at the top or bottom of the pumpkin so you can scoop out the inside. If you don’t want to use the drill, feel free to cut out holes with your knife so the lights can go through. Drill users can drill holes where they want as well, just make sure to scrape out the shavings. These holes can be random or placed by using a pattern. Once that is done, put the lights through the holes and violå. Cinderella’s carriage has arrived in time for Halloween! Now you can have multiple holiday decorations at one time.
