Rock a Cute Ponytail

Sometimes we have those days when our hair doesn’t cooperate and will only look decent in a ponytail. The problem? Those ponytails aren’t always the cutest look. Have no fear because we’ve got the scoop on how to rock a totally cute ponytail look whether you’re heading out to shop with friends or going on a date with that new boy you’ve been talking to.

If you’re an expert with wielding a curling iron, try curling sections of your hair to create some soft spirals. Then, gather your hair into a low ponytail on the side of your head. You can even leave some pieces out in the front to frame your face! This look is wearable in both the morning and the evening; it just depends on how much time you have to get ready.

A curling iron isn’t your thing? That’s not an issue! Brush all of your hair into a high ponytail, making sure the front and sides are completely slicked back. Use some gel if you need to so that you’re left without any bumps. You can keep the rest of your hair straight, or you can spray your hair with a beachy-misting spray to get a more wavy and tousled effect.

Let’s turn that slick pony into something a little more fun to play with. If you don’t have an elastic that matches the color of your hair, your ponytail can look a little strange. Leave out a one-inch section of your hair to wrap around the base of the ponytail. Secure the wrapped hair with a bobby pin, and you’re good to go! You have a new ponytail look just by changing one small thing.
