Sally Hansen Runway Nails #ILuvNailArt #Cbias
Runway fashions are so inspiring for the Spring. If you have been watching any recent fashion shows you have probably seen that bright colors are in for spring. I teamed up with the amazing people at Collective Bias, Sally Hansen and Walgreens to bring you the scoop on how you can get creative with Sally Hansen’s latest Runway inspired collection.
Using some of the awesome products from the Sally Hansen Runway collection I decided to put together some of my own looks. I used a variety of things to inspire my nails. I recently had the chance to attend Kansas City Fashion Week and I had a great time checking out the runway looks. I also got inspired from watching E!’s fashion police (I’m still waiting for them to call me and ask me to be a guest lol) and reading through various magazines. Plus, I used some of the helpful hints I have been gathering from Trendy On Twitter Tuesdays.
Some of my favorite colors on the Runway are the bights (yellow, coral, teal) and also the neutrals. Plus, I always love it when a little animal print is thrown into the looks.
If you are interested in creating your own Runway inspired nails I highly recommend you head up to your local Walgreen’s and check out the Sally Hansen Runways inspired collection. I had such a fun time on my shopping trip. Take a look at my google + album that documents my trip. Of course, I used my Balance Rewards card for my purchase at Walgreens. If you don’t have one I suggest you sign up. Plus they have an aweosme deal going on until 3/30/13 BOGO 50% on Insta Dri and Salon Effects at Walgreens. Use you card, buy 2 between 3/10-3/16, and you will receive 2,000 points. Pretty awesome deal. 🙂
Here are 3 tips to get your runway nails:
1. Go Bright! It’s spring time and it is time to bring out the bright colors. The bright color I focused on was coral.
2. Test out a nail art pen! I was shocked at how easy this pen was to use. It went on super smooth and you could easily take a simple color and add a fun runway look to it.
3. Keep your style! Remember the runway is your inspiration. It doesn’t mean you have to go extreme. Its there to give you some ideas, but you don’t have to stress about it. 🙂
Check out my looks below and hopefully you will feel a little inspired to try your own.
My supplies. 🙂
1st coat, next adding some fun to it.
This nail pen is so fun and easy to use.
I got a little inspiration from Jessica Alba.
Oh yes, right off the run way. I love the Sonic Bloom color from Sally Hansen. Hot pink and coral are hot for spring.
I am completely loving this color, thoughts??!
And of course, a little animal print adds fun to every look. 🙂 I love seeing animal print on the runway.
I had so much fun creating these runway inspired looks. The Sally Hansen products are so fun to use. My shopping trip at Walgreens was so fun and so was creating the nail designs. 🙂
What is your favorite runway looks? Do you have any runway looks you would like to try on your nails?
