Say Good Riddance to Acne With Simple DIY Remedies

Everyone knows that acne can be annoying and can make you lose self-confidence. What happens when you wake up with one your face on a big day like prom or your wedding day? Of course these are the events that require the most picture taking. Believe it or not there are some fast and effective remedies to fix a simple zit or acne covering the entire face. All of the remedies are very simple and quick.

For a few pimples on the face, this is one of the cheapest solutions. All you have to do is take one uncoated aspirin tablet and put four drops of water on it. Mash it up with your finger and apply to the pimples. Wait a few minutes and then rinse off. The aspirin will reduce redness, swelling and pain. It can also be used on the entire face to prevent acne. This remedy is the cheapest because you can literally just buy a travel pack at the store. The travel packs usually have a couple tablets in them and cost a little bit over a dollar.

If you choose to use it as a mask for the entire face, use 1-3 tablets depending on the amount of coverage. Add a few drops of water, and add warm honey. If you don’t have honey, you can add natural oil such as almond, olive, or coconut oil. The oils and honey serve as natural moisturizers to the face. Apply to face and allow drying. Strawberries are a natural source of salicylic acid. Salicylic acid is the one that prevents acne and helps heal it. This is a very simple face mask, and works best if you have acne-prone skin. All you need is ¼ of fresh strawberries (not frozen), and ¼ cup of sour crème or non-flavored yogurt. Mash the strawberries to the sour crème or non-flavored yogurt. Spread on face and wash after 10 minutes.

Here is another very simple and effective face mask for acne-prone skin. All you need is one bottle of Milk of Magnesia (no flavors). Milk of Magnesia is known to have natural disinfecting qualities can absorb oil really well. Apply the Milk of Magnesia to face. Wash with cool washcloth after 10-15 minutes.

If you find that these remedies do not work, then go visit a dermatologist. If you suffer from acne-prone skin don’t worry. Acne is mostly a hormonal issue, and this is why teenagers are more prone to acne. If you are a teenager and have acne, this may not be an issue once you get into your 20s. Remember just because you have acne, it doesn’t mean that you are not beautiful. Most guys are able to find all girls attractive if they are confident with themselves. Just remember that confidence is sexy!
