I discovered what is by far the best healthy eating program I have ever tried and I am so excited to share it with you. I’m sure you’ve heard of Jenny Craig before. I’ve seen the commercials, I’ve had my speculations and today I’m happy to tell you this is a plan you will want to try! This is what 2 weeks of food looks like. Check out that variety!
I’ve always had a busy lifestyle. Most days start before 7 am for me and no, there is usually not enough time to get a decent breakfast (if I get one at all.) Especially this year, I went from working at home to working at an office. Maybe later in the day I’ll get to sneak a few bites of a power bar between conference calls and meetings. If it’s a slower day, I might order from one of the various diners surrounding the office.
By the time I get home I’m most likely still working, they say when you love what you do it’s not work. But, it is still tiring! I’m tired and have no desire to start cooking so I’ll probably heat up something or call for some take out again. This has been my diet for most of my adult life and here I am several years later with a few pounds creepy on me. What’s more important, is I haven’t been feeling my best. I haven’t been fueling my body with the proper nutrients and as I result I sometimes feel sluggish. Thanks, Jenny Craig. 🙂
After realizing that my problem was resisting temptation and portion control, I started my search to find healthy, prepared meals. This wasn’t especially easy to come by. A lot of programs wanted to just rid entire food groups or were so focused on weight loss that it just felt like I was going to be depriving myself. Strict rules, point counting, measuring every ounce of everything I consume all felt like a tedious task.
I wanted a program that frees me from the responsibility of counting and measuring while also leaving me satisfied. That’s when I found Jenny Craig. The program offers over 100 menu items prepared by chefs so your consistently getting quality meals which makes sticking to the program a lot easier.
Members can expect to lose 1-2 pounds a week and even if you don’t live near a center, the company offers one on on support through consultations over the phone or via video chat. It’s a really easy plan to stick to and there’s no meal prepping, or portioning, or calorie counting. Just pop the prepackaged meal into the microwave an enjoy your quality meal. You also get snacks and tasty treats.
I’ve been on the program for about a week and already I feeling great. I’ve had a call with counselor who is amazing. Everyone has been. They are all so supportive in whatever your fitness goals are. I can’t wait to lose my 10 pounds of holiday weight and winter hibernation, just in time for summer. Plus, I have to say not being able to worry about anything when it comes to eating has been seriously amazing. Everything is lined out for me in calendar form. The food is shipped directly to my door and everything, I mean everything taste soooooooooo good!
