Secret Outlast Xtend Deodorant Review + Free Sample

Life has been so busy lately.  I feel like I am running from event to event and on top of that working and working out.  I can hardly keep up with anything, but I wouldn’t trade any of it for the world.  Getting to do what I love is such an amazing feeling; I never truly knew how much hard work can pay off, but it certainly does. I have had some incredible opportunities and hopefully more on the way!

Many of them involve travel and when you are on a time crunch it can be easy to forget about the little things like your smell.  I’m only half-way joking with this. 😉  I recently added something new to my routine and I am excited to share with you all something you need to get if you don’t already have it.  The new Secret Outlast Xtend Deodorant is AHHH-MAZING!

I have been trying it out for about a week now and, let me tell you, it works wonders.  I recently used it when I visited family in Florida.  When I head to the beach, I like to stay there all day, starting with a run on the beach before laying out and sweating it all out. Then, I’ll walk again; lay out again, repeat, repeat, repeat until someone makes me leave.  I am always so hot and sweaty when it is time to go, which, as we all know, is one not the best feelings ever.  A full day with Mother Nature.  Usually, I have to run straight to the shower because well, honestly I stink.

12936722_10101049488404191_5777744507042841289_nThis is when I knew that the new Secret Outlast Xtend was the real deal.  I put it to the ultimate test.  After all of that running, walking and sun sweating, you’d think I needed to go home ASAP, but I didn’t. I went out to a lovely beach dinner after a full day in the sun.  And the best part? No one said a thing about me stinking.  In fact, my mom even asked me if I sprayed something on because I smelled clean!  Nope, just used the Completely Clean scented Secret Outlast Xtend.  She didn’t believe me that a deodorant could work that well. I guess sometimes it’s not Momma knows best, but your daughter knows best. 😉

I put Secret to the test again when I got home from Florida, and it worked! The best part is that Outlast Xtend is the perfect everyday use deodorant.  Going from one event to the next I am changing clothes, moving quickly, trying to get places… I don’t have extra time to reapply deodorant and in reality, sometimes I forget.  It’s part of my morning routine, but after that there’s no hope.  Secret Outlast Xtend ups the ante with 48-hour odor protection, plus delivers better quality odor protection and better coverage in two popular forms: Clear Gel and Invisible Solid.

I like the Invisible Solid for my everyday use, especially when I’m working from home or running to meetings.  The New Xtend Technology adheres directly to the skin to help stop odor before it starts. Invisible Solid gives a dry application for the right amount of coverage where you need it and none where you don’t for continuous 48-hour odor protection.  Yep, that’s right 48 hours. So if you have a busy morning, you’re running late, you forget to reapply the deodorant, no worries you can go two days and still smell great. 😉

12523851_10101049486797411_5671291558531759350_nThey both work great; it’s just a matter of personal preference.  Clear Gel is specifically formulated to dry fast and adhere to your skin to leave no white marks or residue behind. Just two clicks, one swipe and seconds to dry for continuous 48-hour odor protection.

Hi Sarah, I used to use these products in the past but had to stop because the gel burned if I used it after shaving, and it felt sticky and did leave a residue on my clothing, even after allowing for dry time. The solid was too strong for my sensitive skin and left me in with excema breakouts that took weeks to correct and heal. Also, I still did have odor when it was caused by the dreaded stress factor — in everyday life, the odor protection was fine, but at a wedding and later at a family reunion (high stress levels), I had worse odor than if I had used a different product. Not to naysay your post — but if a product doesn’t live up to its claims, I can’t buy it. I use the Dove brand now and find it much kinder to my skin (but I still don’t know how to prevent stress sweat odor).
