Seven Days Of Summer Outfits

Summer is well and truly here and what better way to celebrate the warm and light days and nights than with a bright summer wardrobe? If you are someone who tends to steer clear of bright colors in favor of timeless and, in many cases, more comfortable neutral colors then Sarah Scoop is here to help! Although black, white and nude are great, summer is really the time to experiment and see what colors work for you. You  might just be surprised with what looks good on you. Adding a pop of color to your wardrobe not only gives you that extra sparkle when you leave the house, but it can make you feel great too! A sunny outfit makes a sunny demeanor! For a little inspiration on how to brighten your summer day, we have seven days’ worth of outfit we would like to share with you using hypothetical summer occasions. Enjoy!

You are heading to a barbeque with your closest friends on a beautiful sunny day. Try a bright turquoise floral dress with some neutral platform wedges while you are sipping on sangria! If it get’s chilly, pair the dress with a simple jean jacket. Simple and sophisticated.

A night out with the girls is definitely in order. Pair a simple white shift dress like this beautiful Alice & Olivia lace trim dress with some bright pumps and a sassy lipstick like this Bare Minerals lip color. This particular shade is called Light it Up!

You are heading to the office and want to add some color but maintain a professional look. Easy! Pair a classy, bright colored blouse like this Roksanda Illincic one with a simple black pencil skirt and some sophisticated pumps. This outfit is not overwhelmingly colorful but the pretty shade of pink might just make your workday a little brighter!

It’s a beautiful day and you feel like splurging that hard earned money with a shopping spree. Since you will be walking a lot, you will probably want to wear comfortable shoes. Therefore, we suggest that you opt for some fun ballet flats like this nude, studded pair from Forever 21. Pair them with a simple t-shirt and some fun, patterned pants for a low maintenance summer look.

Heading to the beach with friends and family or lounging by the pool? Explore this fun option! Try a bright fuchsia (or any other color you like) with matching sandals and a big floppy hat to keep the sun off your face. You will look like you’ve stepped straight out of the pages of a fashion magazine! Oh, and don’t forget that sunscreen!

When is a better time of year to enjoy a date with your new crush or significant other? Summer is a great time to show off your style without having to cover it up with scarves and coats and layers of heavy fabric. Be playful and enjoy the opportunity to have fun with your style! Try a sweet floral dress with a bright colored clutch and some wedges for a day date. For nighttime, try a bright, tighter dress with a simple bag and some fun heels. At least if your date isn’t memorable in the long run, you certainly will be!

Summer is usually the time where couples come together to celebrate their love for each other without having the battle the elements. If you happen to be lucky enough to be a guest at a beautiful summer wedding, you want to look classy, romantic and fun without overshadowing the bride. Bright and fun doesn’t necessarily mean neon – especially at a wedding! Try a romantic colored dress (not too short!) with some pretty metallic heels and earrings. If it gets colder at night, wear a shimmering cover-up.
