Carly Rae Jepson, singer of the smash hit single “Call Me Maybe,” was recently spotted in New York City on July 3rd with Adam Young of Owl City. They were there to film the new music video for their first collaboration together “Good Time.” A day earlier the adorable twosome released a lyric video for the song, which is filled with cartoon-like graphics that complement the words to this upbeat hit.
For at least one portion of the music video Carly will be seen in this perfect summer get-up driving around in a white Fiat. The Canadian songstress tied up a blue oxford shirt and wore a yellow and gray shirt underneath. She paired her tie-dyed denim shorts with a pink belt and high-top Velcro shoes. Lastly, she accessorized with a statement necklace and layers of beaded bracelets. The look is totally cute and unique and super-easy to pull off at home.
Start with a yellow (or really any bright hue) bandeau or camisole. Over that put an always-classic blue oxford like this Old Navy Oxford shirt in Chambray blue. The main attraction of this outfit is the fun tie-dye shorts. You can find the same ones Carly wears at H&M or try these from Urban Outfitters. The pink belt and bracelets shown here are also from H&M. The necklace can be found at Asos. Finally, finish off the ensemble with some cool sneakers like Carly or some chic sandals like these by Dolce Vita.

This just in! According to Perez Hilton, the next place you’ll be able to see Carly is on the CW television series 90210. She has officially confirmed her appearance in the October 8th fifth season premiere of the show, where she will also be performing a new track from her debut album!
