Isn’t it a wonderful feeling when something is extremely good for you and also happens to be equally as delicious? Well, that just happens to be the case with this salad. This salad is great for a healthy snack or as an appetizer before dinner. That is exactly what you get with this simple strawberry salad.
It’s also really easy, quick, and relatively cheap to make, which makes it convenient for college students, single people or when we need to fit some fruits and vegetables into our diets between the takeout and frozen meals. You can make this year round, but the best time for strawberries is in the summer. The summer is really a perfect time to enjoy this refreshing salad, so I thought I’d share this simple recipe.
- Rinsed baby spinach
- Sliced fresh strawberries
- Sliced almonds
- Strawberry vinaigrette dressing (my favorite is Brianna’s Home Style Blush Wine, but there are many options at the supermarket or even try making your own!)
- Add some chicken to make a heartier meal or even toast the almonds for an extra crispy crunch in your salad.
