4 Delicious and Easy Summer Smoothies

Looking for the perfect summer drink? Try some of these tasty smoothies to add a little kick to your summer palate.

Cherry Vanilla Smoothie
1 1/2 cup ripe sweet cherries, pitted

1 4 oz container Greek Yogurt, vanilla flavor 2 cup milk, any kind

3 tbsp honey or 4 tbsp sugar (more or less to taste)

Put all ingredients in blender. Blend or puree until smooth. Serve immediately.

Strawberry Banana Peanut Butter Smoothie
1/4 cup strawberry
1 frozen banana
1/2 cup strawberry yogurt
1/2 cup milk,1 tbsp creamy peanut butter

Blend or puree until smooth. Serve immediately.

Citrus Berry Smoothie
1 1/4 cups fresh berries
3/4 cup low-fat plain yogurt
1/2 cup orange juice
2 tbsp nonfat milk
1 tbsp honey
1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Blend or puree until smooth. Serve immediately.

Breakfast Smoothie
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1/4 tbsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1/2 cup frozen strawberries
1 tablespoon of peanut butter (or almond, or cashew…)
A handful of spinach

Blend or puree until smooth. Serve immediately.

Using frozen fruits adds texture to your drink. Buying bags of frozen fruits saves time and allows you to make your smoothies whenever you wish without accounting for the time it takes to freeze them.
