The Many Faces of Chicken

No matter what style you prefer your chicken, it is not only a great source of protein after a killer workout but it’s a delicious component to any meal. Whether you’re a thriving businesswomen on the go or a college student with limited time and resources to conjure up a five-star recipe, chicken is one of the most versatile meats that can taste magnificent regardless of the preparation.

Fried: Though not tummy conscious, the general consensus seems to be that fried chicken is the most tasty, despite the grease. Fried chicken does not need to be so unhealthy, though. Frying it in olive oil in a pan over the stove instead of in a deep fryer will cut back on the added (and unnecessary!) grease that would have made its way into your system.

Grilled: A healthy alternative, grilling your chicken with a pinch of your favorite seasoning or rub will satisfy your taste buds without having you feel guilty about what you’ve put into your body. Pairing it with organic veggies and roasted red potatoes will add flair to your dinner and have you craving seconds.

Stuffed: Homemade baked chicken stuffed with succulent cheeses and other meats is a holiday favorite in my house! With the help of a crock pot, you can place your stuffed chicken in this slow cooker and allow it to simmer for hours with little maintenance on your part. By the time it is complete, you will be left with a brag-worthy stuffed chicken you’ll be proud to share with company.

Marinated: Perhaps one of the easiest ways to prepare chicken breasts, taking time out of your busy schedule will be well worth it to marinate a few pieces that can be cooked at a later date. By allowing the seasoned mixture to to penetrate deep into the chicken’s layers and infiltrate its every crevice, your taste buds will jump for joy when the bit finally touches your tongue.
