The Must-Have Walmart Beauty Favorites You Need for the New Year

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. However, all opinions are my own.

It’s officially winter time and I don’t know about you, but on these cold, dreary days I need a pick-me-up anywhere I can get one. Now that the holidays are over, it’s no more sweets for me. So, what can I do to freshen up my routine in the midst of all this snow and ice? New Walmart beauty products are the answer. I can take advantage of Walmart’s awesome selection of hair, skin, and body products at a great price, and you can too!

Walmart has some new lines of haircare hitting the stores this month and a batch of new hair products are the exact kind of pampering I need. If that wasn’t enough, I have also rounded up my favorite skin and body products for that dry winter skin we are all struggling with right about now.

Walmart Hair Care Favorites

Waterless Dry Shampoo

Nothing comes to the rescue in my life more than dry shampoo. We all have heard that it’s best for us to not wash our hair every single day (and let’s be honest, sometimes we simply don’t have the time), so dry shampoo is the perfect thing to add a spritz of freshness into our second (or third) day hair. Plus, it saves water. Not to mention, spacing out washes keeps our hair from drying out, which leads to less static – triple win!

Waterless Dry Conditioner

I’m sure dry shampoo is not a foreign concept to any of us at this point, but something that has been new to me recently is dry conditioner. I don’t know why I hadn’t thought of it before! When my hair is dry and full of static (which is seriously like every day in the winter), dry conditioner is just what the doctor ordered to add a little moisture and a lot of smoothness to my poor, dried-out locks.

Waterless Hair Fragrance

This product isn’t a total necessity, but why not add a little fragrance to your hair when the price is this good? The rose and peach fragrance of this one is so feminine and flirty. If you’re anything like me, you’ll want to wear it every day. This product comes in other scents too, so there is always the option to start a collection. Just saying. 😉

Rooted Rituals Scalp Scrub

Sometimes when the weather gets cold, we start piling on products like the ones above to try and combat dryness and static. This can lead to a build-up of products on our hair (meaning greasy, oily, weighed-down locks). Nobody wants that! But at the same time, nobody wants to let their hair dry out – so what should we do? Scalp scrub to the rescue! Reset that head of hair to a blank slate when that build-up happens so you can hydrate it in the healthiest way possible. It’s the best of both worlds, you can keep using the products you love without keeping them in your hair for longer than they’re welcome.

Hairitage ACV Rinse

If the scalp scrub isn’t your thing, this apple cider vinegar rinse is another gentle cleanser to reset your roots. Don’t worry though, it won’t strip your hair of its natural oils. So just sit back, relax, and rinse the day away.

Hairitage Argan Oil

I know what you may be thinking – an oil for my hair? That’s the last thing I need! Hear me out. This argan oil won’t leave your hair greasy. It adds just the right amount of moisture to hair while also providing an extra barrier from the elements. Protect and nourish those lovely locks the way they deserve – even in the winter!

Glow Habit Skin Vitamins

Usually, our first thought when dealing with problematic skin is to treat it on the surface, but why not nourish our skin from within? The hyaluronic acid and vitamin C in these vitamins is often found in acne products like serums and moisturizers, so adding them into our vitamin rotation makes sense when targeting problem skin.

Lululun Face Mask

One of the most fun skincare products I can think of is the trusty sheet mask. Take your skin’s winter hydration to the next level by adding this mask into your skincare product rotation.

Dickinson’s Hydrating Toner

Sometimes toner can be drying to the skin, and if you’re like me, that is the last thing you need in the winter. Instead, I like to use a gentle, hydrating toner. It adds another level of cleansing without stripping the skin like some toners might. Plus, you can’t beat this one’s price!

Neutrogena Hydrating Serum

Ahh the serum – my absolute favorite part of my skincare routine. The only problem is that some of them can be crazy expensive. This one from Neutrogena is ultra-hydrating and comes at a reasonable price. This serum is a gem – great quality at a great price. What’s not to love?

SheaMoisture Overnight Oil

If you’re looking to switch things up, one thing you can do is try out an oil instead of a serum. This one from SheaMoisture is a coconut oil blend that you leave on your face overnight so you can wake up glowy and nourished in the morning. Rise and shine!

Hydrabio Moisturizer

We can’t talk about a skincare routine without including a moisturizer. This one is super hydrating so it’s perfect for this time of year. Follow your serum or oil with this moisturizer and kiss your dry skin goodbye!

Glow Habit Sleep Vitamins

This time of year can feel like we’re always buzzing around and spinning our wheels, but as we all know, it’s important to take the time to wind down at the end of each day. These vitamins contain 5 milligrams of melatonin to promote restful sleep. Plus, they have skin-loving Silica and Sea Buckthorn to add to the benefits while we snooze away.

Bodycology Bath Fizzies

Need a little pick me up at the end of the day, but don’t want to reach for the sweets? Try a hot bath with these bath fizzies from Bodycology to elevate your well-deserved relaxation time.

Olly Women’s Multivitamin

Nobody’s perfect, but this “Perfect Women’s Multi” can help us make up for missing vitamins in our diet. With vitamins A, C, D, E, and Bs plus biotin and folic acid, we can be sure our bodies will thank us. I like to start off the new year by adding new products to my routine, so why not something that will benefit every part of my body?

Winter = dry hands. Like the desert, but cold. This is very serious. I rounded up three different creams to combat this annoying phenomenon – so take your pick below!

Nivea Creme

This cream smells clean and neutral, so if super fragrant lotions are not your thing, this is the one for you. The consistency is rich and luxurious, so a little goes a long way.

Burt’s Bees Hand Cream

The scent of this hand cream is sweet, warm and natural. If you want a warm and fuzzy feeling, try this hand cream to nourish those cold, dry hands. Say hello to your new best friend!

Deep Steep Hand Cream

This hand cream is made with citrus extracts, olive oil, and aloe, so if you prefer a tart scent to wake up your senses, try this one from Deep Steep. The scent is not overwhelming, and the consistency leaves your hands so silky smooth you might forget it’s freezing cold outside – sorry for reminding you. 😉
