Over the last year or so I have really developed a love for running.  I know it sounds crazy, who actually enjoys to run?  But, I really do.  Once you start running it turns into a fun and healthy hobby.  I have had so much fun running with friends and have participated in some really exciting races.  As a runner, not only do you want to be in good shape, but its also important to be healthy.  The Walgreens Healthcare Clinic Kansas City is a great option for not only fellow runners, but anyone looking to save on time and health care costs.

They offer a variety of wonderful options.  As a runner, these are my top 3 favorite things about the Walgreens healthcare clinic.  Check out these Ways to Save on Time and Healthcare Costs for Runners.

1. Walk-In Are Welcome

Lets be realistic here, life happens and sometimes you just don’t have time to plan.  Although, Walgreens Healthcare Clinic does offer appointments, I love the fact that they have walk-ins available.  There are many times when you may go to sleep feeling great or even decent and you wake up feeling like you’ve been hit by a truck. (okay, that might be a little dramatic 😉 but you get the point).  It’s so great to know that you can head to Walgreens and visit their clinic without an appointment and still get the same great, quality help you need.

2. Open 7 Days & Weeknights, Too
Everyone with a job, family, friends, a life in general knows the frustration of trying to schedule appointments during the work day.  That’s why I love the fact that Walgreens Clinics are open every single day of the week and at nights, too.  You can predict when you will get sick so its great to know that you have the connivence to make your appointments work with your schedule.
3. On-Site Pharmacy
Seriously, when you are feeling ill do you really want to have to drive somewhere else to get the meds that help make the pain go away?  Absoultly, not.  The convience of the on-site pharmacy is one of my favorite things about the Walgreens Healthcare Clinic Kansas City.  It saves me so much time being able to pick up any prescriptions I may need right after a board-certified family nurse practitioner helps guide me to wellness.
Walgreens healthcare clinics really are great.  Of course, none of us ever want to feel sick, but knowing that I have somewhere to go if I need it makes the pain a little easier.  I love knowing that I can go, get help, pick up my prescriptions if necessary and be back and ready to run.  Plus, I am always up for cost effective places and luckily the Walgreens healthcare clinics accept most insurances.   One more bonus is that they treat patients 18 months & older.  I may not get use out of that yet, but in the future I’ll definitely plan to take my babies there if they are ever sick.

These Healthcare Clinics would be such a help to my husband who finds it hard to break away during business hours. I love it for my kids too, who always seems to get sick after our pediatrician closes. #client
