Share the Scoop

Let’s face it: sometimes we’re lazy and just want to keep our same hairstyle for days. Sadly, factors like grease and embarrassment get in the way. There are exceptions, though; many second-day hairstyles can look even better than the first day. As long as you wash your hair on the third day, your grease problem can actually benefit you. Dirty hair stays in place much better than clean hair does! So, let’s take a look at a few styles you can do to keep your second-day hair looking fabulous.

You head to class with perfectly straightened hair that lasts you throughout the day. When you wake up the next morning, your hair just doesn’t look as good as it did the day before. What can you do to spice up your look? Add some curls! A curling iron isn’t needed to add some volume to the ends of your hair. Grab your straightener and clamp it halfway down your hair, twisting it towards or away from your face depending on which way you want the curls to go. Do this around your entire head until your hair is looking cute and cool!

Let’s say that you went out for a shopping trip with a head full of fun waves. The next morning, you’re totally bored of keeping your hair down and want to change it up. Pull your hair into a bun, leaving a few wavy pieces out in front to frame your face. You can position your bun anywhere on your head that you’d like! The waves around your face give the hairstyle a little extra something that simple buns don’t always have.
