Classic Cup

The Classic Cup Cafe had everything you could want for a perfect brunch on the Plaza. They are masters of making brunch perfection because they paired a Belgian waffle with grilled peach compote for a delicious and savory meal. It was a match made in heaven. The waffle was filling, and not too sweet either because of how Classic Cup chooses to grill their peach compote. This meal was complete with a side of their savory thick-cut bacon.

Their drinks are perfect for an Instagram post. They are also great for sipping on a hot afternoon! They are sure to be the perfect refresher to complete your meal. A berry Collins gives you a slight kick with the mix of sweet and fruity berries, lemon, and mint. A tequila spritzer is a popular choice The Classic Cup Cafe recommends. This drink would be so refreshing on a warm afternoon here in KC.

Homesteader has a cool relaxed vibe with a full bar and lots of seating area, perfect for a large group to meet up at. Because they have a lot of menu option, opting for their classic Chicken and Waffles was a great choice.

The fried boneless chicken was cooked to perfection and served with a fluffy Belgian waffle there was no going wrong here! The part of this brunch that stood out to me most was the sriracha aioli they served the meal with. This gave the classic meal a kick and made me crave more even after the plate was cleared. Make sure to pair your meal with one of their lovely mimosas or another cocktail.
