This is the moment most-if-not-all fashionistas around the world have been waiting on (yes, we can stop biting our well manicured nails in anticipation), finally the former Vogue Editor-at-large André Leon Talley has landed his own series on Bravo.
I am beyond elated that Bravo is producing something besides mellow dramatic housewives crucifying one another with pick forks in one hand and a cosmo in another.
The Project-Runway like show, currently titled Fashion Series of New York is set to follow four up-and-coming design team as they produce the collection that will make-or-break their careers. Talley will act as a mentor and will help promote these young talents far beyond what they are capable of, something he isn’t new to.
Still, at 62, Talley is listed as a Contributing Editor at Vogue and has been deemed by many as one of American Next Top Model best judges.
With fashion shows like The Rachel Zoe Project and the recent, Fashion Star, Talley might sashay his way to the top with his glitzy capes and larger-than-life personality. So grab your popcorn, put on your avocado face mask, sip on your skinny girl margaritas because this may be a hit guys. Will you watch?
