What’s Hot For Back To School Looks #WHFBTS

Back to School means it is time to update your wardrobe with fresh new clothes. After teaching first grade for four years, I know how excited kids get about their back to school clothes.  It’s so much fun for them to pick out their first day of school look and those pictures that parents take are cherished forever.  This year, I want you to remember how important back to school is to your child.  Seriously, as a teacher I don’t think there is anything more exciting than meeting your students on the first day of school.  I know children feel the same.

One trend I am loving for young boys is plaid shirts and dark jeans.  I mean to be honest I love this trend on guys of any age, but its especially cute on the little ones.  It’s the perfect go to look for back to school.

Nautica is a brand I always trust when it comes to shopping.  They have some great options for kids – the above look is all from Nautica.  These dark denim jeans are a great versatile piece in any child’s wardrobe.  Pair them with a cool, classic plaid button down in fall colors to create the perfect look.  If it gets a little chilly, I suggest you throw on a striped zip-up hoodie to keep your child warm.

When I’m shopping, especially for children I try to buy pieces that are great for multiple seasons.  Like I mentioned earlier you could add a zip-up to this look and wear it in the winter.  It’s great as is for fall and even in the spring you could roll the sleeves and pair with loafers for a more springy look.  Looks like these can get your child through the entire school year.

The best part about this adorable look is that all pieces are under $50 and available on Nautica.com. Check out some more boys & girls options online.

Now, go ahead and get shopping for back to school looks.  You still have time to make your little one the most fashionable one around.

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post, however all opinions are my own. I only write about brands I would honestly suggest.
