Every girl’s skincare regimen should include washing their face twice a day. You should wash your face when you wake up in the morning and before you go to bed at night. There are times where we get lazy and maybe skip washing our face before we go to bed, but that is ill advised. The same amount of effort that you take to get ready in the morning , is the same amount of time you should take to get all of what you accumulated on your skin off before you go to sleep.
Think about how many hours you spend outside. In those hours your skin accumulated dirt, bacteria, environmental pollutants and dust from the outside world. By the time you get home your skin has been through the daily ringer. What you don’t want to do is go to bed with that same dirty skin that was outside all day. You want to give your skin a chance to breathe and allow it rejuvenate after being outside and dealing with the harsh atmosphere.
To maintain clean and healthy skin you need to be aware of all of the benefits of a daily skin care regimen. The main part of that includes washing you face twice a day. Sometime there are days where we get too tired to make that trip to the bathroom to cleanse our skin before we go to sleep. By not allowing your skin to breathe at night, you could be adding years on your skin in the long run.
The last thing we want is for those lazy nights to come back and add 5 years on our skin. Like most women, when it comes to your skin one thing that we try to avoid is acne. By not washing your skin twice a day you might be making those problems worse. While we are asleep our skin produces oil that can get clogged in our pores. These clogged pores can cause you to break out.
Another probable outcome from not washing your face twice a day is you may run the risk of skin infections and rashes from the leftover bacteria on your skin. In order to have the best possible skin we need to make sure that we take care of our skin before we go to bed.
When you first wake up you want to prepare your skin the rest of the day. At night your skin secretes sebum which is oil secreted by the sebaceous glands of your face. If you have oily skin you are too familiar with sebum secretions, because it is sebum that is secreted from your skin that makes it have that oily and greasy appearance.
If you wear makeup every day you want to make sure to apply it to a clean even surface in order to have the best results. Cleansing you skin before makeup application is essential to achieve that look that you may be going for. When it comes to skincare we play a major role in the quality of our skin. How healthy your skin looks depends on how well we take care of it.
