With St. Patrick’s Day just around the corner, we’re all trying to make plans for the holiday (especially since it falls on FriYAY!) Whether you’re looking for an all day long party or just a good deal on a drink, these Kansas City staples are real crowd pleasers. Grab your shamrocks and your pots of gold, we’re going out for some green beer!
McCoy’s Public House
Most know McCoy’s for their award-winning mac and cheese. I on the other hand am all about their beer! With 11 beers on tap including a refreshing house brew, it’s no wonder McCoy’s is a regular St. Patrick’s Day destination. In the past, they’ve opened their doors at 7am and served a $10 breakfast buffet until 10am. Fingers crossed they’ll be doing the same this year! (I want that breakfast buffet!)

Just steps away from McCoy’s Public House is the Foundry for your after breakfast beer. They’ve also made beer garden’s available in their parking lot and have had DJs start around noon!

The Dubliner
The Dubliner is known for it’s exceptional fusion of the Irish and American cultures. Last year, the pub opened it’s doors bright and early at 8am to serve a traditional Irish breakfast and also offered live entertainment. Though there’s nothing on their calendar yet indicating a celebration, we’re holding out hope that they will continue on with this event.
