It’s only been a few months since we were first introduced to a group of friends called the Pogues setting out on the adventure of a lifetime in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. With the Netflix series displaying an overwhelming popularity with, well, everyone, we decided to show our support! We’re celebrating the newly-announced season 2 of “Outer Banks” by compiling a list of just why we can’t wait for the second season of our favorite teenage treasure hunters.

Warning: Spoilers ahead.

1. The Treasure

We’ll start with the most obvious. When we left off at the end of Outer Banks season 1, John B and Sarah had emerged from the storm alive and were headed to the Bahamas in search of his father’s gold. So of course in season 2, we have to find out what happens next! Do John B and Sarah make it to Nassau? Does the evil Ward Cameron get defeated? Will John B’s innocence be proven? Only time will tell.

2. The Reunion

We have to see the Pogues, plus Sarah Cameron, reunite! After the emotional farewell on the dock and John B telling the fishing boat captain he had no one to call, an epic reunion is practically required. With tears all around, not just on our part.

3. JJ’s Love Life

Throughout season 1 of Outer Banks we saw the love stories between John B and Sarah, Pope and Kie, Sarah and Topper, and even briefly John B and Kie. But what about JJ? Other than a few random hookups, the blonde never had any real romantic entanglements. And whether you ship JJ/Pope, JJ/Kiara, or anyone else, it can be agreed that the time has come for JJ to get some love.

4. Everything About Topper.

Our last image of Topper was him running out of a burning building in John B’s sweatshirt, allowing John B and Sarah to get away. What inspired this change of heart? And what does this mean for Topper’s status with the other villains now that he’s helped the enemy?

5. The Fate of the Pogue’s

As far as we know, the remaining three were left in some serious you-know-what with the police following after their aiding of John B’s escape. What will become of them? Which leads us to…

6. JJ’s Restitution

Yeah, that’s still a thing. And as much as we love him, we’re pretty sure JJ won’t hold up well behind bars. There’s not a lot to say about this one. We’ll just have to wait and see!

7. Fan Work

The OBX-ers are a talented bunch, spanning across a myriad of platforms, and we need more material for artwork, fanfiction, videos, and more! Gotta keep those creative juices flowing! (Yes, not necessarily part of the show, but still important.)

8. More cute John B and Sarah moments.

Don’t lie, you aww-ed just as much as the rest of us. We need to see more of this adorable couple!

9. Rafe’s Issues

Hopefully in season 2 he can get some help when it comes to his mental health. Because, yeah… #notokay.

10. The Lovely Cast

We want to see each character grow and thrive, as well as some behind the scenes action. We need more photos and videos of their interaction because their friendship is too cute for words. We can’t get enough of it!

Bonus: John B’s hair.

Yeah, we’re literally giving an entire bonus point solely to his hair. Let’s all just be honest, it’s pretty epic and we’re all clamoring to see it again in season 2.
