Created by Netflix with the utilization of CG animation, the second season of Ghost in the Shell: SAC_ 2045 circles around Section 9 and their involvement in the worldwide 'sustainable' war. Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 follows Section 9, Major Kusanagi, Batou, Purin Esaki, and others, on their journey to fight the post-humans created by the American government.
