25 Healthy Snack Ideas

Being on a diet doesn’t mean your foods have to be bland or boring. Sometimes during the day, you need a pick-me-up snack. These healthy snack ideas are more on the creative side and less on the bland side while still being healthy! And remember everything in moderation.

  1. Pita bread and hummus topped with feta cheese and chopped olives
  2. Cottage cheese with low-fat yogurt
  3. Homemade fruit smoothies
  4. Handful of almonds, raisins, and cashews
  5. Cherry tomatoes with low-fat ranch dip
  6. Strawberries dipped in low-fat whipped cream
  7. Baked chips (about 10 chips) with salsa
  8. Apple slices with cubed cheese
  9. Edamame with just a hint of salt
  10. Pecans–try taking 5 pecans and roasting them with 2 teaspoons of maple syrup and 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  11. Turkey roll-ups–take four slices of smoked turkey, roll them up, and dip them in 2 teaspoons of honey mustard
  12. Pretzels dipped in honey mustard or spicy mustard

  14. Celery topped with a little peanut butter and some raisins
