3 Easy Tips to Perfect Your Game Day Party

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post in partnership with The Kraft Heinz Company however, all opinions are as always my own.

It’s football season and for some, this truly is the best time of the year.  Growing up and still living in Kansas City, I have been raised a football fan.  There is something about that Midwest, home team pride that just can’t be beat.  While I know little about football, what I really love about the game is that it brings people together.  Friends, family, food and good times! What’s not to love?

Any reason to have friends and family get together is a cause for a celebration in my book.  However, the last thing I want to do is stress over having to cook and prepare everything from scratch.  I am all about making life easier while still living it to the fullest and that includes having people over to enjoy game days together. Here are three super easy tips I have for you to host the BEST football watch party!

1. Themed Display

First off, start with a themed display and keep it simple. I like using green tablecloths for the “football field.” Team colored cups, silverware, plates, napkins are also a good idea.   Football themed platters for arranging food are perfect too.

For beverages, turn your sink into an ice bucket or find colorful plastic team colored totes to hold your beverages!  You can also serve drinks that are the same color as your favorite teams.

2. Easy Appetizers

When I think of football, I think of easy appetizers like an assortment of dips.  But let’s be real, who has the time to prepare multiple dips? You’re in luck because I did the hard work for you and found the perfect dips for game day. NEW PHILADELPHIA Dips are my go-to solution when gathering friends and family on a Sunday to watch the game.  Pair with chips, crackers and veggies and you are all set with a satisfying treat to serve your guests.

What I love about having dips on the tables is that it’s an easy place for people to start the party and, if they don’t already, get to know each other.  Plus, guests can munch as they please throughout the game while cheering on their favorite team.

The NEW PHILADELPHIA Dips are now available at Price Chopper and come in three rich and creamy varieties: Jalapeño Cheddar, Buffalo Style with Celery and my personal favorite Southwest Style Black Bean & Corn.  I love that the PHILADELPHIA Dips are made with the goodness of PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese and real vegetables. I am always trying to sneak in those veggies anywhere I can. The dips pair well with fresh veggies, pita, crackers and tortilla chips so it’s an easy, quick, no fuss solution.

These dips are always a huge WIN for my parties!

3. Shopping

For me this might be the most important thing to consider.  I have mentioned getting festive and serving easy appetizers, but where do you start?  Of course I like to keep it simple when I shop. When it comes to game day preparation I always head to my local Price Chopper.

I was able to find all three varieties of NEW PHILADELPHIA Dips with the other refrigerated dips at Price Chopper along with the fresh veggies, chips and crackers I wanted to serve them with.  I know that I can find everything I need as far as food, plus they always have fun decor items. As an added tip, check out their bakery section for locally themed items.

Enjoy Game Day

While you may not think this itself is a tip, it’s my best advice for you to make the perfect game day party.

So go stock up on your favorite PHILADELPHIA Dips from Price Chopper, get some festive decor and have the best time cheering on your favorite teams.
