3 Tips for Staying On Trend
Some people are really into their fashion, some people are happy just throwing any old T-shirt and a pair of jeans on. Which is perfectly ok, whatever you feel comfy in you should wear. But, for those of you who absolutely love your fashion, you’ll know how important it is to try and stay on trend. The trend is forever changing. What was fashionable this week will be old news in a couple of weeks time. But that’s the great thing about fashion. It is forever changing, and forever making people feel amazing. So, if you’re looking for ways to stay on trend a little more, here are a few for you.
The Trends
To stay on trend, you first need to know what the trends are. There’s a few ways of doing this, and there’s always going to be a few trends out at the minute. Some are just absurd. If you’ve ever watched a catwalk show, you’ve got to sit and think to yourself ‘what the hell are they wearing?!’ This isn’t the sort of fashion trends you need to be on the hunt for. High Street retailers showcase some of the best trends all year round. They strategically place items all around the store that should help you piece together an outfit. Or you could look in some magazines or online articles to see what the celebrities are wearing. Whilst their price range might be a bit out of your league, the ideas you can take from them aren’t.
Accessorize
Accessories are everything, but not everyone relies on them to complete an outfit. But if you do follow the celebs and watch what they wear, you will notice that every time they step out they’re full of nice jewelry. It has the power to change the look of an entire outfit, so knowing how to use it to your advantage is always good. There are some really cute pieces out there at the minute, such as Roma Designer Jewelry. Smaller pieces are sometimes better depending on what outfit you’re wearing. If you’re wearing a little black dress, some cute silver jewelry will complement the outfit really well. But, if you’re looking to make a statement and wear bigger and bolder jewelry, you need to make sure you’re not overdoing it. It is so easy to edge towards tacky with bigger pieces of jewelry.
Winter Wear
Since it is now winter, we might as well talk about winter wear. There’s so many different trends this year for winter, but the one we’re going to talk about today is the puffy and fluffy look. Black skinny jeans, some knee high boots, and a puffy fur coat give you that lovely winter yet classy look. Try and keep the coat to a dark grey if you can, with a white top underneath. If you want to get extra toasty, there are some great Russian style hats on the market that are lovely at the minute. Leather gloves will help to give it that classy edge as well.
