3 Ways To Wear The Floral Trend #LegendsStyle

As some of you might remember I am the official style setter for the Legends Outlets in Kansas City and every month Ill be sharing 3 fun ways to wear a popular trend.  For the month of May it is all about the Florals.  Check out 3 ways to wear florals.

First, there are so many amazing floral dresses out right now.  I picked up this cute long floral dress at  Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH.  I paired it with colorful bangles and a bright yellow purse again from Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH.  The bright yellow handbag really pulls out the bright colors on the dress.  I also added some cute and comfortable wedges that are sold at Off Broadway Shoe Warehouse.  

A floral dress is a super fun and easy way to pull off the floral trend.  I love the idea of a dress because it really can be an entire look.  When you have a dress like the one I am wearing below you can let it take the lead in your outfit and you don't have to worry too much about accessories.  The Legends Outlets offers a variety of floral dress in many lengths and designs.

(And when you're taking pictures outside you may want to add some sunglasses, haha don't mind my squinty eyes. 😉 )

For the second way to wear florals I went with a high waisted pencil skirt from J.Crew | crewcuts.  I paired it with a navy blue top, also from J.Crew | crewcuts.  I absolutely love the look of pencil skirts.  By creating this look based on the floral trend I easily have a look that would be great for a day at the office or a night out.

As for the accessories, the purse and shoes are from Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH.   I kept them neutral so they naturally flow with the look, but don't distract from the actual flowers.  Then I topped it off with a flower necklace from J.Crew | crewcuts.  This white necklace could easily be worn in a variety of looks and is a great piece to have.  I love the contrast of the bright white against the navy.

For the third and final look I went with a J.Crew | crewcuts blazer.  I absolutely LOVE this piece.  I paired it with a white dress from Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH.  Along with some dark pink bangles and small handbag from there, as well.  Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH is loaded with amazing accessories.

To complete the look, I added some super cute pumps from Off Broadway Shoe Warehouse.  This look is really easy to achieve, with just a few pieces you not only complete the floral trend look, but do so in a stylish way.
