So, we took the time to find the 30 best Disney World rides for adults to have the best experience!

Disney World can get overwhelming with the number of rides and attractions it offers. Especially with so many rides catered towards children and teens.

1. Space Mountain

Ever wanted to experience zipping through space? Well, we’ve got the perfect ride for you! Space Mountain is an outer space-themed roller coaster that is located indoors, where you can experience what it’s being pulled by gravity into a wormhole. I mean if I rode this ride, I’d probably be screaming like a little kid too. But that can be our little secret.

2. Haunted Mansion

Now, this is a great time for those who loved to get spooked! At the Haunted Mansion, a spirit’s voice guides you through a haunted estate home to ghouls, ghosts, and the supernatural. But don’t worry there is no gore and the ride is slow, so it’s still ok for young children to enjoy.

This ride is also located in Tokyo Disneyland and Hong Kong Disneyland. Even though the designs are slightly different you’ll still have just as fun of a time!

3. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad Mine Train

Ready for the Wildest Ride in the Wilderness? Big Thunder Mountain Railroad Mine Train roller coaster has no conductor so you get to experience 3 ½ minutes of craziness. Ride through mountains, caverns, avalanches, and floods in the old west.

Trust me, you’ll want to hold on time for this ride. Be careful leaving the ride, because it will definitely have you shakin’ in your boots by the end of it. 

4. Splash Mountain

This was one of my favorite Disney rides as a kid, and it still takes the cake as an adult! Drift along the bayou on Splash mountain but be prepared for the 5-story drop at the end!

Also, be prepared to get splashed on this great ride. Make sure you go to the kiosk to get the picture from the drop. That way you can keep this fun memory forever.

5. Toy Story Mania

Take a step inside Andy’s room at Toy Story Mania. This 4-D theme park attraction starts you off walking through a toy chest of games. Once you make it through using your spring-action shooter to shoot at moving targets.

If you are competitive this is the attraction for you! Take your best shot against other players for the high score. And yes, it’s ok if you win against a little kid.

6. Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin

Help Buzz defeat his arch-nemesis at Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin. In this attraction, Zurg is stealing batteries from the toys, so it’s your job to help Buzz blast all the targets to stop him. This is a great place for those who love Toy Story! Also, a fun attraction for all ages.

7. Slinky Dog Dash

Who didn’t love the Slinky dog from Toy Story? We all did! The Slinky Dog Dash is located within Toy Story Land. On this roller-coaster, you get to ride Slinky dog and watch as his coils spring back and forth as you bend around turn, and zoom up and down hills. This classic ride is perfect for the whole family!

8. Kilimanjaro Safaris

At Kilimanjaro safaris you get to experience Africa at the Harambe Wildlife Reserve. This is your chance to see 34 species living on 110 acres of plains through this guided safari tour. One of the best things about this tour is you never know what’s going to happen!

You will want to go during the day and again at night for a truly unique experience each and every time. This attraction gives you the essence of being on a real African safari.

9. Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

Feel like you live in a small world? Then escape to a galaxy far far away with Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, the best Disney park for Star Wars lovers.

This theme park includes Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and Millennium Falcon Smuggler’s Run which includes star tours. You can find this park located at Disney’s Hollywood Studios at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando.

12. Jungle Cruise

On this ride, you’ll see hippos, lions, and zebras on your ride down the river. Hopefully, you won’t have to wait, but if you do, this tour is totally worth the long lines.

13. Twilight Zone Tower of Terror Drop Tower

Ready for some serious mystery? Twilight Zone Tower of Terror Drop Tower is a fun and accelerating dark ride at Hollywood Studios! Relive the story of a scary Halloween night in 1939 when visiting this attraction.

14. Seven Dwarfs Mine Train

Want a peek into the life of the seven dwarfs from Snow White? Then you must check out the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train roller coaster located at Magic Kingdom park.

17. Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith

This is for the Aerosmith Fans! Rock ‘n’ Roller coaster starring Aerosmith is located at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Here you can get a view of what it’s like inside their Hollywood recording studio. Maybe you’ll catch them finishing up a session.

Enchanted Tiki Room is a theatre-in-the-round show with over 225 choreographed Audio-Animatronics performers. One of the many popular attractions at Disney. You can sit back and relax, or join the fun and sing along with the lively exotic birds, flowers, and tiki statues.

21. Spaceship Earth

Future World is one of the two lands at Epcot at Walt Disney World Resort. The Kali River Rapids is located in Asia at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme park. With so many water parks it’s hard to choose the best Disney World park, but we promise you, this ride is SO much fun! With Twists and turns down rushing rapids, you better hold on tight for the 20-foot slope.

I mean, who isn’t a huge Pirates of the Caribbean fan? Well, maybe it’s just me. Or you too! If so, check out the super cool Pirates of the Caribbean water ride where you can see Captain Jack Sparrow from the film series.

For the thrill-seekers! At the Test Track attraction, you are able to create your own virtual concept car and then put it to the test! Hop in the 6-passenger “SIM” car and take it for a wild ride. This super cool ride goes up to 65 miles per hour and at the end, you get to see how well your car performed.

27. Aerophile Balloon Flight

If you’ve ever wanted to fly high in a hot air balloon, this ride is for you! In the Aerophile Balloon Flight you can climb 400 feet in the air and get an incredible 360 view from the top. You won’t want to miss out on this 8- minute adventure while in Disney Springs.

With tickets at only 20$ for kids and 25$ for adults, it’ll be the best time for the whole family. While in Disney Springs you can also stop at some awesome shops and great dining options. You are sure to have fun from the beginning of the ride to the end of the ride!

The adventures continue for space lovers! On the Astro Orbiter, you become the pilot. You push or pull your lever in your ship to control your ride. levitate in your 2-passenger space shuttle as you orbit the planets with sights and sounds from Tomorrowland. The Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor is another attraction that isn’t a ride but an experience. It’s a must-see at Magic Kindom Park!
