It’s not easy trying to find something to cook, especially when going to the grocery store is the last thing you want to do. Most families tend to shop every week or two, just to cook something for dinner. Whether you’re cooking something healthy, something to snack on, or just want to whip up something in less than 30 minutes; here are 4 easy to make meals with foods you already have at home.
Stuffed Pepperoni Chicken Breast
Easy to bake and beginner-friendly. This meal can be part of an entree meal for dinner.
Ingredients
Start the oven by preheating it to 350 degrees. Season both sides of chicken breast lightly with salt and pepper and place on a flat aluminum pan. Next, slice each chicken breast in half without fully cutting it apart. Optional: add a little more salt/pepper. Place in oven when ready and leave it for it approximately 45 minutes. When 45 minutes has passed, take them out and spread the marinara sauce on top, add the mozzarella or provolone cheese, then the pepperoni. Fold each breast together, add more marinara and cheese on top, and place back in the oven for another 15 minutes. Take out and enjoy.
Overload Garden Salad
Salads are perfect for sides or lunch during the day. You don’t need much to make them a tasteful meal. The special thing about creating a salad is you don’t really need salad dressing: you can squeeze a fresh lemon all over instead.
Ingredients
- Salad bag of spring mixed greens
- 1 boiled egg
- Raisins
- Cucumber
- Grape Tomatoes
- Walnuts
- Grapes
- Balsamic vinaigrette dressing
Place the fresh spring mix of greens into a large salad bowl. With everything already cut up for you, just toss and enjoy.
Smoked Sausage Pan Fry

- Smoked sausage link
- Brussels spouts

Start by cutting up ingredients and placing them on a flat aluminum pan. Evenly distribute olive oil and add your seasonings. As far as seasoning, its totally up to you. With the oven on 350 degrees, just watch it marinate together for 30-40 minutes. Take out, cool off, and enjoy.

Ingredients
Prepping will take you less than a minute! Seriously, all you have to do is boil water. While your noodles are boiling, place your alfredo sauce in a small pot and let it sit for about 15 minutes to warm. Once everything is to your liking, combine the noodles and sauce in one pot. Put the temperature to low, stir, and sprinkle in a little Parmesan and parsley for about 5 minutes – you’re all done!
